Oliver Bullock and How He Wooed Her

This is the only photo I've been able to find of Oliver Bullock. Handwritten on the back is "Jan. 1st, 1900," which would make him about 14 years old. Still wearing short pants, and I'd like to know what he's got stuffed into his coat pockets.
In another file I came across a postcard that Oliver sent in 1908 to Olga Neef, his future wife:

I suppose Olga was at Valparaiso University training to be a teacher, residing in Lembke Hall.

I don't know when exactly they were married — sometime between the spring of 1911, and early 1914 (their first child was born that year).
Here's Olga as a member of the Old Maids' Basketball Team in 1907 (next to her future cousin-in-law Ruth Bullock Mackey):
