Interesting to see the nice old house on the corner, too. The house to the south of Jory's is still there, was owned by the Storey family when we lived on the Garfield side of the block in the 1950's. I believe it was sold out of their family sometime in the 1990's and was renovated. Glad that someone saved it.
I wouldn't have known the Storey house was the same; you can barely see it for all the trees in the 1909 photo.
