Superior Farms and Certified Milk

Jumping around in time as I do with the blog, I've long associated the Gruel farm with the name Superior Farms, but apparently it did not get that name until early in 1922:

(And apparently Fred Scharbach objected to his mention in the previous week's letter from Canada.)

Hi, anyone know the exact address of the farm?

I expect that at the time the Gruels owned it, the farmhouse had no house number -- for mail delivery purposes, it would be just been on a rural route, e.g., RFD 2, Crown Point, Indiana (or whatever it really was). The road it sat on was called the Gruel road, now Spencer street. In a 1962 Hobart directory, the Superior Farms address is given simply as: "RD 2."

The present address of the River Pointe Country Club, on the old farm site, is 6700 Country Club Road, Hobart, IN, according to their website.
