Evidently Peter and Hulda Palm had not yet bought the farm northeast of Hobart that they would own in later years (as shown in the 1939 plat map I posted when I first mentioned them and their Ainsworth connection); for here in July 1919 we find them selling their house and moving onto Main Street. Would they sell the house without selling the farm it sat on, if indeed it sat on a farm?

We can't know exactly what patrons of the Gem Theater saw that Saturday evening, as How Could You, Jean? is one of those silent films that has been lost to posterity.
