Wildflowers of Ainsworth: Small-Flowered Agrimony

I think back with some nostalgia to those compact, low-growing wildflowers of early spring. These days all the wildflowers are big gangly things that if you try to fit entirely inside the frame of your viewfinder, you end up with just a distant photo of some green thing that you can hardly make out against all the other green things behind it. Hence the two pictures here, so you can see both the blossoms and the leaves and stem. The entire plant is about four-and-a-half feet tall.

I can't find anything interesting about this plant, but at least it's not poisonous.
