OK, you two — what were you doing out in that cornfield that's got you grinning like that?

Unidentified, and I don't recognize them.

I wonder if that isn't Myrna and Clarence Schavey? Here is a picture of Myrna older:http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/obituaries/portage-woman-was-an-inspiration-to-family/article_df8ae289-f14f-5cb5-83a5-f488fe463a9e.html
The smile and features seem similar..same with Clarence. Plus she was a bit younger than him and the woman in this photo seems to be as well. Would you guess from the car its the late 40s/early 50s?

I see what you mean about them having a similar smile. Very similar. I think they might be the same person. Also I think you're right about the car, although I'm no car expert. I will have to show this picture to one of my car people.

Ok thanks!

Just showed the picture to a couple of car guys today. They tell me it's an Oldsmobile and probably 1938 or '39.

Thanks, that's interesting. Makes me wonder if this was taken not long after they got married in August 1943 (if it is them). The picture seems to fit that time of year.

Last week I came across a photo of them on their wedding day. I'm certain it's them now! No way to attach the photo here but I could email it if you're interested.
