Baby Squirrel (Random Pointless Photos)

The evening before St. Patrick's Day, my sister found two baby squirrels in her yard. They had fallen out of the nest. They were nearly frozen, and it was obvious that their parents weren't going to retrieve them. My sister took them both in to foster-parent them. Unfortunately, the smaller one didn't survive the first night. But it's been nearly 13 days now, and Patrick is thriving.

Will Patrick be able to go back to the "wild" or does he become a house pet? (Don't know a whole lot about squirrels. . .)

My sister intends to release Patrick outdoors when he's old enough. She tells me that some friends of hers did that with an orphaned baby squirrel they raised, and the squirrel did just fine in the wild (aka their neighborhood) but still used to come visit them for treats sometimes.

My aunt's fiance is a logger' and one day he cut down this tree and come to find out there was a squirrel nest in it. But he could only find one baby squirrel' so he put it in his tool box in a sock and brought it home. So she has had this squirrel for about two and a half week now and it still as not opened it eyes yet' and its five weeks old.
