Boot Hill (WWI-Era Photo Album)

Who and where are these hunters? Why does that particular guy want to take off that particular boot on that particular hill? There is handwriting on the back of this photo, but the photo is glued on the page so thoroughly that you can't read it. Someday, someone will figure out how to get the photo off the page, and then perhaps the mystery will be solved. We can hope.

On the same page, what looks like another hunting trophy — a dead crow.
